Restaurant Portal Terms

These terms govern use of the Kuchisabishii restaurant self-service portal (the "Portal") by restaurant owners and staff ("you," "your restaurant"). They apply alongside — and for anything specific to the Portal, take precedence over — the general Kuchisabishii Terms of Service. The Portal is operated by Aeternum Corp ("Aeternum," "we," "us").

A note on scope: this document does not yet cover paid advertising, promotion pricing, or other commercial terms — the Portal's promotion feature is currently offered without a live payment flow, and those terms will be published separately once that's in place.

1. Claiming a restaurant

You may submit a claim for a restaurant listing you are authorized to represent, by searching for it in the Portal and providing a business email and a note for the reviewing operator. Submitting a claim does not grant access by itself — every claim is reviewed and approved by a named Aeternum operator before you can manage the listing. We may decline a claim, or ask for more information, at our discretion, including to protect against a fraudulent or unauthorized claim.

Access granted through an approved claim is for that restaurant only, and only for as long as you remain authorized to represent it. We may remove access if we determine a claim was inaccurate or unauthorized.

2. Managing your listing

Through the Portal you may edit your restaurant's contact information and hours; add, edit, and deactivate your dishes (description, price, food type, cuisine, allergens, and dietary patterns); link diner-submitted dishes that predate your claim to your own menu; and upload photos of your restaurant and its dishes.

You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you enter. Allergen and dietary information you provide is shown to diners as restaurant-declared, not independently verified by us — see the general Terms of Service for the allergen-information disclaimer that applies to your listing as much as to anyone else's content.

You may not set or influence the "taste classification" (DNA) values Kuchisabishii derives for your dishes from diner ratings — that signal is the system's own inference from real experiences, not something either side edits directly.

3. Photos and imagery — no cost

Uploading photos of your restaurant and your dishes through the Portal is free. Aeternum does not charge restaurants for image or media storage.

By uploading a photo, you confirm you have the right to use it (you took it, or have permission from whoever did) and grant Aeternum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on Kuchisabishii in connection with your listing. You keep ownership of your photos and may remove them at any time.

4. Feedback is separate from public ratings

Diner feedback shown in the Portal (service, cleanliness, atmosphere, value, and written comments) is collected separately from the public dish ratings shown to other users, and never affects how your dishes rank or are recommended. It exists so you can hear directly what diners tell us about visiting your restaurant.

5. Support

Use the Portal's "Contact support" page for questions or problems. Submitting a ticket doesn't guarantee a specific response time, but we read and respond to every one.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or revoke a restaurant's Portal access for violating these terms, submitting materially false information, or on request from a verified owner of the restaurant who disputes an existing claim. You may stop using the Portal at any time; your restaurant's public listing is not removed from Kuchisabishii solely because Portal access ends.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Portal is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aeternum is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Portal. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Alberta or Canadian law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta.
