Cookie Policy
Effective September 26, 2026
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This page explains what Kuchisabishii uses them for.
What we use
Kuchisabishii currently uses only essential cookies and equivalent local storage:
- Session cookies / tokens. Keep you signed in, including the temporary anonymous session created when you take the taste-profile quiz before creating an account.
- Security. Help us detect and prevent abuse of sign-up and sign-in.
- Functional. Remember basic preferences, such as which filters you last had open.
None of the above requires consent under applicable law, because the Service cannot function without them — you can't stay signed in, or keep quiz progress between steps, without something performing this job.
What we don't use (yet)
We do not currently use advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies that build a profile of you across other websites. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent before enabling anything non-essential — not simply note it here after the fact.
Third parties
Signing in with Google or Apple may involve cookies set by those providers as part of their own sign-in flow, governed by their own policies, not this one.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will likely prevent you from staying signed in or completing the taste quiz.
